Jamify LLP (“Meet Jym” or “we”) has created this privacy policy, which may be amended from time to time (the “Privacy Policy”) in order to explain our privacy practices for our (the “Website”) and our mobile application (the “App”, and together with the Website, the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service, which can be accessed via the Platform, alternatively, it can be found at

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information through the Platform. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information by Meet Jym in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. A user of the Service is hereinafter referred to as a “User,” or collectively, the “Users.”

Please note that our Website may contain links to other third party websites. When connecting to those third party websites, please be sure to read their individual privacy policies and terms of service. We do not accept any responsibility for the content or accuracy of any information on those third party websites, or how any of your information is handled or stored by those third parties when you provide it to them.

Personal Information

When you sign up to become a Registered User (as a Client or Trainer), enter any promotion, contest, or sweepstakes, or sign up for our newsletter or other publications, you will be required to provide us with personal information about yourself, which may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number and REPS number if you are a Personal Trainer.

If you elect to sign in to the Platform using Facebook Connect, you are authorising Meet Jym to collect, store, and use, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, any and all information that you agreed that Facebook, Inc. (“Facebook”) could provide to Meet Jym through Facebook’s Application Programming Interface (“API”). Such information may include, without limitation, your first and last name, Facebook username, Facebook profile picture, unique Facebook identifier access token, and e-mail address. Facebook Connect gives you the option to post information about your activities on the Platform to your profile page to share with others within your network or opt out of information you do not wish to share.

All information collected pursuant to this section is collectively referred to as “Personal Information.” We do not collect or access any Personal Information from you when you use the Services unless you provide us with the Personal Information voluntarily or authorise us (whether pursuant to this Privacy Policy or otherwise) to access it.

Billing Information

When Registered Users wish to purchase a product or service through the Platform, they will be required to provide certain information in addition to the Personal Information noted above. For clients this may include (but is not limited to) Full name, Credit card number, debit card number, expiration date, bank account information, billing address, activation codes, and similar information. For Trainers, this will include but is not limited to: the country they are based in, information regarding their business, account details, business type, company number, VAT number, registered address, website, Personal details including first name, last name, date of birth, home address, business name, business phone, bank account details including: sort code, account nuber, bank account currency, email address for their stripe account and password. Such information is collectively called the “Billing Information”. Please note: Such Billing Information is collected, held and processed by our third-party payment vendor (Stripe) pursuant to the terms and conditions of Stripes privacy policy and Terms of Use. We do not obtain access to or hold onto any personal financial information relating to Billing Information in connection with these transactions. If you have any concerns or questions with regards to how your details are handled, you must refer to Stripes Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Meet Jym only stores information such as tokens and what is required to identify that clients have a particular card storred on the system, and so we can use it for future use when you next purchase a deal from the trainer. Clients seeking professional training will only be required to enter that information when they are purchasing a deal. Meet Jym may also store information that tells us that trainers have succesfully entered their information into Stripe and you are compliant with their requirements in order for trainers to receive payments. By agreeing to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy you agree to and understand that Meet Jym may have super admin features and will prompt you to make refunds when requested from clients. Failing to comply with Meet Jym and Stripe procedures and not refunding clients may result in a permanent ban from Meet Jym and all of its services.
Geolocational Information

Certain features and functionalities of the Services are based on your location. In order to provide these features and functionalities after you sign in to the Platform, we may automatically collect geolocational information from your mobile device or wireless carrier and/or certain third-party service providers. Such information is collectively called the “Geolocational Information.” Collection of such Geolocational Information occurs only when the Services are running on your mobile device.
Other Information

We may collect additional information (collectively, the “Other Information”). Such Other Information may include:

1.     From You. Additional information about yourself that you voluntarily provide to us, such as product and service preferences; workout details; your sex, age, height, weight, previous diet plans, previous workout plans, progress pictures, weights lifted, previous injuries, previous types of training and other demographic and physical details; and other information that does not identify you personally.

1.     From Your Activity. Information that we automatically collect when you use the Services, including, without limitation:

·          IP addresses, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, sections of the Website visited, etc.;

·          Information about a mobile device, including universally unique ID (“UUID”), Platform type and version (e.g., iOS or Android), carrier and country location, hardware and processor information (storage, chip speed, camera resolution, NFC enabled, and network type (WiFi, 2G, 3G, 4G); and

·          Activity and usage information occurring via the Platform, including tagging data, favourites, survey responses, preferences, session lengths; and similar data.

·       Billing information referred to above under the title labelled “Billing Information” which is taken as you purchase deals.


We may also collect supplemental information obtained from third parties such as:

·       demographic and navigation data;

·       communications you send to us, for example to report a problem or to submit queries, concerns or comments regarding the website, Services or its content;

·       information relating to your real-time location;

·       information that you post on the website in the form of comments and reviews about other Registered Users.

·       Video/Photos you may upload, job categories and desired hourly rate, deal price, deal duration, number of sessions and other information we may suggest or you decide to upload to your profile.

·       Additional data used in the Meet Jym service includes but is not limited to: date of birth, gender, height, weight, fitness goal, past sports activities, past injuries, location, third party payment information, progress pictures, weights lifted including repetitions/sets, dietary information, full disclosure of mental and physical health conditions which may or may not to your knowledge affect your ability to do the tasks carried out in the Meet Jym app. In addition to this, lifestyle patterns (nutrition patterns, sleep patterns, hobbies, working hours, time to exercise) and any/all information which is clearly identified in the Meet Jym Terms of Use.

·       You must read the Privacy Policy with the Terms of Use to fully understand any and all information which may be gathered. It is your full responsibility for the legitimacy and the accuracy any and all information you provide. Failure to do so, will result in a permanent ban of its services. Meet Jym cannot and will not be held responsible for you not making a full disclosure and getting approval from a qualified doctor/physician prior to conducting ANY activity which is recommended on the Meet Jym app.


Flurry Integration:

We use a third party software called “Flurry” or known as “Flurry from Yahoo” to measure and monitor all data analytics in the app. This includes, but is not limited to:

·       Real Time data useage: of all users, including active devices, sessions today, sessions in the last 24 hours.

·       Other useage information including: number of new users, demographics of new and active users, active users, the number of sessions daily, demographics of the sessions, the session length, frequency of use, top 10 versions used by active users, page views.

·       Retention: Rolling retension, return rate, activity of recent users.

·       Audience: Interests, My apps, Catergory, Personas, Age, Gender, georgrpahy and language.

·       User Acquisition: including reporting and creating campaigns.

·       Events: all events on the app are be storred as statistics. This includes but is not limited to identifying when each and every button is pressed and/or any and all pages are viewed. This may be the total event occurances, the total event occurences daily average, unique event users daily average, events per session daily average. We will also store information relating to the user path taken by users to achieve a desired outcome. Our Events log tracking allows us to fully analyse the path you take on the app from the moment you sign up to the moment you close or delete the app. Lastly we will also record the funnel to clearly understand the sales process better.

·       Crash analytics and errors: We also use third party software such as crashlytics and flurry to identify when the error crashes. This will give us a full insight to the action which was performed before, and during the crash.

·       Technical Information including: devices, models, carriers, firmware versions may also be stored.


The information collected doesn’t identify you personally, but may provide insight taken on your device. The sole purpose of us collecting the information is to provide better understanding of the user experience and will only be used to improve the app Meet Jym and it’s services. If you have any questions with regards to the Meet Jym Privacy Policy and/or Terms of Use and require further clarification you must email: Alternatively, if you require information relating to any of the third party softwares we use you must contact the third party supplier directly to view their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Meet Jym cannot be held responsible for any actions occurred on a third party site. You useage of the platform indicated you are in agreement to all conditions specified.

You are under no obligation to provide any information to us. However, you may not be able to take full advantage of particular opportunities provided through the Platform. When you visit and interact with the Website and/or third parties with whom Meet Jym has contracted to provide services to Meet Jym may automatically collect your Internet Protocol Address (“IP Address”), which is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider. This number is identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever you visit the website, along with the time(s) of your visit(s) and the page(s) that you visited. We use IP Addresses to monitor the regions from which Users navigate the website and for fraud prevention purposes.

Once you register, your username and additional information regarding your activity is made public and is visible to all Registered Users of the Website. This information includes photos you upload, your published portfolio, your comments, ratings, and additional information you may choose to add to your profile. We therefore advise you do not post any information on the Platform which you do not want out in the public.


We may collect information that using “cookie” technology. Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s or mobile device’s hard drive so that your computer will “remember” information about your visit. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to help us collect Other Information and to enhance your experience using the Platform. If you do not want us to place a cookie on your hard drive, you can turn that feature off on your computer or mobile device. The Way Meet Jym Uses Information

We do not use your email address or other Personal Information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. We may, however, use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major changes to our Services or the Platform, or for customer service purposes). We may use both your Personal Information and certain non-personally-identifiable information identified above to improve the quality and design of the the Platform and to create new features, promotions, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, and analyzing user preferences and trends. We may use cookies and log file information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you use the Platform; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor individual and aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.; and (d) track your entries, submissions, views and such.

Although we ensure that our third-party agents receiving your information are bound by privacy restrictions at least as restrictive as those set forth in this policy, Meet Jym is not responsible for any issues that may arise regarding the privacy policies of any of its affiliates or advertisers. When you use the Platform, the Meet Jym may automatically collect additional information about you, such as the type of internet browser or mobile device you use, as well as any website from which you have come to the website or application. You cannot be identified based on this information and we use it for analysis purposes to:

·       Market the Service;

·       Improve and enhance the Service so that it operates more effectively;

·       Increase the likelihood that a group’s experience with the Service is relevant to its interests as a whole.


Through our Services:


We may share your information:

·       With Trainers to enable them to provide the services you request. For example, we share your name, photo (if you provide one), previous diet plans, workout histories, goals, progress pictures, weight lifting information or any other information specifically requested to render the service required as per the fitness program.

·       With the general public if you submit content in a public forum, such as blog comments, social media posts, or other features of our Services that are viewable by the general public; and/or

·       With third parties with whom you choose to let us share information, for example other apps or websites that integrate with our API or Services, or those with an API or Service with which we integrate. This may include Stripe.

When Meet Jym Discloses Information:

We do not sell or share your Personal Information with other third-party companies for their commercial or marketing use without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. We may share your Personal Information with third party service providers to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to perform, improve or maintain the Service. We may share non-personally identifiable information (such as anonymous User usage data, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform types, asset views, number of clicks, etc.) with interested third-parties to assist them in understanding the usage patterns for certain content, services, advertisements, promotions, and/or functionality on the Platform. We may collect and release Personal Information and/or non-personally-identifiable information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state and federal laws (such as U.K. Copyright Law), international law or respond to a court order, subpoena, or search warrant or equivalent, or where in our reasonable belief, an individual’s physical safety may be at risk or threatened. Meet Jym also reserves the right to disclose Personal Information and/or non-personally-identifiable information that Meet Jym believes, in good faith, is appropriate or necessary to enforce our Terms of Service, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend itself against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, to protect the security or integrity of the Website, Meet Jym App or our servers, and to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Meet Jym, our users or others.

Your Choices

You may, of course, decline to submit Personal Information through the Platform, in which case Meet Jym may not be able to provide certain services to you. If you do not agree with our Privacy Policy or Terms of Service, please delete your account, uninstall the App and discontinue use of the Service; your continued usage of the Service will signify your assent to and acceptance of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps to verify your identity before registering and granting you access to the Service. You may opt out of receiving communications from us and our partners, remove your information from our database and choose to not receive future communications unrelated to the Service. If you receive unsolicited email from a company-related domain, please contact us on Please note that in some cases we may retain certain information about you as required by law, or for legitimate business purposes to the extent permitted by law. For instance, if you have a standing credit or debt on your account, or if we believe you have committed fraud or violated our terms, we make seek to resolve such issues before deleting your account information. You have a legal right under the Data Protection Act 1998 to a copy of all the personal information about you held by us. Upon request, we will provide you with a copy of this information, subject to a fee not exceeding the prescribed fee permitted by law. You also have a right to correct any errors in any information we hold about you. You are able to update your information in these settings option of the app. You may edit your account information at any time — all you need is your username and password. So that we can protect the integrity of sensitive data, there are certain pieces of information, such as your age, that you cannot alter yourself. For example, since children under 18 are not allowed to register as Users without parental consent, we need to take reasonable measures to preserve the accuracy of our Users’ ages. Please contact us to find out how to change information you cannot access through your account. Our databases automatically updates any Personal Information you edit in your profile, or that you request we edit. Information transmitted through boards, chats, polls or through any other means remains in our databases and becomes the property of the Meet Jym upon submission.

Privacy Policy Change

From time to time we may make changes to our Privacy Policy. If we alter our Privacy Policy in any way we will post those changes here. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal data, we will post those changes on our Website.

Other Important Sharing

We may share your information:

·          With Meet Jym subsidiaries and affiliated entities that provide services or conduct data processing on our behalf, or for data centralization and / or logistics purposes;

·          With vendors, consultants, marketing partners, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf;

·          In response to a request for information by a competent authority if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or is otherwise required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process;

·          With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or other third parties if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our User agreements, Terms of Service, or policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Meet Jym or others;

·          In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company;

·          If we otherwise notify you and you consent to the sharing; and

·          In an aggregated and/or anonymized form which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

·          to service providers for the purpose of opening, operating and servicing your account (example – payment vendors, CRM systems, mailing systems or technical consultants);

·          to respond to a subpoena or court order, judicial process or to regulatory authorities; and

·          to protect against fraud, unauthorised transactions (such as money laundering), claims or other liabilities. We do not collect credit information; but allow our payment vendors to collect information for the purpose of collecting payments from buyers on the Site or transferring payments to sellers on the Site. We are not exposed to the payment information provided to our payment vendors, and this information is subject to the privacy policy applicable to the payment vendor.

Social Sharing Features

The Services may integrate with social sharing features and other related tools which let you share actions you take on our Services with other apps, sites, or media, and vice versa. Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the social sharing service. Please refer to the privacy policies of those social sharing services for more information about how they handle the data you provide to or share through them.

Data storage and international transfers

Information that you submit via the website or application may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). For example, this may happen if one or more of our servers are from time to time located in a country outside the EEA or one of our service providers is located in a country outside the EEA. If you make contact with any Registered User featured on the website, your details may be transferred outside the EEA. If we transfer your details outside the EEA in this way, we will take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected. By submitting information via the website or application, you agree to this storing, processing and transfer. In addition, if you use our Services whilst you are outside the EEA, your information may be transferred outside the EEA in order to provide you with those Services. If you are a user accessing the Website and Service from the US, European Union, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United Kingdom laws, please be advised that through your continued use of the Platform, you are transferring your personal information to the United Kingdom and you expressly consent to that transfer and consent to be governed by English law for these purposes.

Meet Jym Security

Your Meet Jym account is password-protected so that only you and authorised Meet Jym staff have access to your account information. In order to maintain this protection, please do not give your password to anyone. If someone represents to you they are Meet Jym staff and asks for any personal account information, including your password, check the sender’s information (including email/domain/URL). If it doesn’t say they are they aren’t, if at any point you are unsure about who the content is from, feel free to send a copy of the content to and we will advise on the legitimacy of the content sent to you to confirm if it was from Meet Jym services or not. Also, if you share a phone, you should sign out of your Meet Jym account and close the browser app before someone else logs in. This will help protect your information entered on public terminals from disclosure to third parties. Meet Jym makes every effort to ensure that your information is secure. Meet Jym makes sure that every online communication with our customers meets our high standards of privacy and security. Meet Jym takes precautions to ensure that member account information is kept private. We do this by using a secure server with software that encrypts all of your confidential information before you send it to us. We also protect your privacy by limiting employee access to and use of customers’ personal data.

In addition, we take a range of measures to protect all customer data against unlawful or unauthorized access and have in place appropriate physical, technical and organizational security procedures to protect against damage, loss, destruction, misuse and alteration of customer data.

Only certain authorised Meet Jym staff can access personal information, only when it is relevant to their job duties. Meet Jym has staff dedicated to maintaining this Privacy Policy and other privacy initiatives, periodically reviewing security and making sure that every Meet Jym employee is aware of our security practices. Meet Jym uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Meet Jym and you do so at your own risk. Using unsecured wifi or other unprotected networks to submit messages through the Meet Jym Service is never recommended. Once we receive your transmission of information, Meet Jym makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. If Meet Jym learns of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. Meet Jym may post a notice on the Website or through the Service if a security breach occurs.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet/mobile phones can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, the Meet Jym cannot absolutely guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and would like to remind you that you are doing so at your own risk.

Stripe Security: As Meet Jym uses a third party payment processor for its payments. Meet Jym is not responsible in any way for the security of any and all financial information you enter on the app. Including all information specified under the chapter “Billion Information”. Stripe is a well-known trusted global brand that are (at the time of writing this 25th March 2016) PCI Level 1 Compliant which is the most stringent level of PCI compliance. Meet Jym may at times only store tokens which identify you are a user and the information you have entered, please note this is specific to any and all payments that are done through the app. Tokens are storred so the same card can be used the next time a transaction or purchase is made and a deal is bought via the app. For more information relating to the security of Stripe, please see the following link:

In the Event of Merger, Sale, or Bankruptcy

In the event that Meet Jym is acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right to transfer or assign the information we have collected from our users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control. In the (hopefully) unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganisation, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors’ rights generally, we may not be able to control how your personal information is treated, transferred, or used.
